We strive to provide a variety of opportunities so that people with various skills, talents and interests can engage through year-round, meaningful volunteer and internship placements that provide essential support to our clients through activity coordination, work on committees, and behind-the-scenes support for our staff, programs and fundraising events.

Volunteer Mentor Opportunities

Reentry Mentors

Mentoring Parents in Transition:
Over 400 fathers & mothers release to Marion County every year. You can help change that statistic.

Male and female volunteers are needed as mentors to share their life experience in business, employment resources, parenting, positive relationships and family dynamics!

Sometimes having just one person who is on your team, cheering you toward the finish line can make all the difference.  No special degree required, just a strong desire to help individuals involved in the criminal justice system.   We make same gender matches only.

1-to-1 and group mentoring options are available. (Click on the names of each position to read a full position description.)

Male Youth Mentors

7 in 10 youth in our program are boys.
Only 2 in 10 mentors are men .

It’s simple, regular everyday men are needed to play games and sports, attend a ball games, go to parks, ride bikes and have an overall great time with the future men of our community! Our young guys need you!

There are no special qualifications.  Just a desire to have fun, to be the one who makes a difference!
