U.S. Bancorp Foundation Awards $10,000 Grant to Mid Valley Mentors

Grant to support mentor programs for children, teens, adults and families affected by incarceration.

Salem, OR –Mid Valley Mentors, a community-driven non-profit agency is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the U.S. Bancorp Foundation. This contribution will help build Mid Valley Mentors’ programs supporting children, teens, adults and families affected by incarceration in Marion and Polk Counties.
“This is the third year U.S. Bancorp has contributed at this level to Mid Valley Mentors,” Board of Directors Vice Chair Carolyn Bolton explains, “We feel so fortunate to be partnered with US Bank and to be the recipient of their generous support. Most of our annual budget is comprised of grants, each of which has specific stipulations for expenditures. It is so wonderful to receive funding that we can use to fill gaps between grants and ensure thorough, seamless service to our volunteers and clients.”

Special thanks to Ryan Allbritton, Region President, Oregon Mid Valley Region, for being a champion for Mid Valley Mentors within his company and the Salem community at large. Without his leadership and encouragement, Mid Valley Mentors would not be able to serve our
community by providing free volunteer mentors to those affected by incarceration.
