Registration Includes:

• 1 race entry with bib number
• 1 short sleeve cotton t-shirt, limited to the first 150 registrations – adult and youth sizes available

• 5k registration includes opportunity to win recognition at awards ceremony if a finalist in one of the categories described below.

Packet Pick-Up Options:

• Saturday October 9, 2010 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Gallagher’s Fitness Resources in downtown Salem
• Saturday October 16, 2010 7:15 – 8:45 am at Salem’s Riverfront Park

Timing:

Timing will be tracked by clock, racers will have bibs with numbers.

• Salem’s Riverfront Park: 200 Water St NE, Salem OR 97301
• Dogs are not allowed to run
• Race entry is not restricted by age, but registrations must specify one of the two races (5k or Fun Run/Walk)
• 5k starts at 9:00 am, start and finish is the same location (near the pavilion at Salem’s Waterfront Park)
• Fun Run/Walk starts at 9:05 am, start is the same location as the 5k, finish is near5k finish. Distance is 1.5 miles.
• Age Groups for each Male and Female Category:

• Award Ceremony for 5k top finishers in above mentioned categories is at 10:15 am near the finish line.

Course Descriptions:

5k: Starts near the pavilion, crosses into Wallace Marine, loops through the north parking lot, back up the bridge into riverfront, circles the park and ends at the start line.

Fun Run/Walk: The non competitive fun run/walk starts near the pavilion, continues along the riverfront trails around the park twice and finishes just south of teh pavilion for a total of 1.5 miles.
