Youth artists who submit entries will…
- Have an opportunity to compete to win a CASH PRIZE
High School age students: $150 CASH PRIZE
Middle School age students: $100 CASH PRIZE - Promote recycling and raise awareness of the impact individuals have on our environment.
- Learn about philanthropic giving through art. Entries will be auctioned off at a community event in support of Mid Valley Mentors, a community-based nonprofit organization that provides mentoring and leadership opportunities for youth.

Guidelines
- Art work must be made from materials that have been previously used & destined to be discarded or recycled.
- The only new items allowed are construction materials: paint, glue, screws, nails and tape. If any other new items are used, the art will be disqualified.
- Free-standing art dimensions: up to 24 inches by 24 inches.
- Wall art dimensions: up to 4 feet by 4 feet.
- All entries must be submitted by April 8, 2010.
Where do I submit my art?
Entries may be submitted at participating middle and high schools, speak with your art teacher for specific instructions.
