A mentor-youth match requires professional support to succeed and results in the best possible outcome for youth.

Your donation supports program activities and staff to manage the program who:

• Recruit volunteers
• Interview potential volunteers
• Run a criminal background check on volunteers
• Thoroughly check volunteer references
• Provide mentor training and orientation
• Interview children and families
• Make mentor-youth matches
• Create case plans and provide resource connections to meet critical family needs
• Supervise mentor-youth matches to minimize risk and ensure safety.
• Provides crucial match support – our mentors will tell you, they can’t do it alone!
• Plan activities to strengthen the mentoring relationship and increase match retention.
